Tools
Two calculators for the two questions the game does not answer.
Where is a life likely to start, and how long will the session take? Both tools use the game’s public country table. Neither one plays the game or changes the draw.
Birth odds calculator
Pick any of the 172 countries, see its share and odds, then run 1, 10, 100 or 1,000 weighted draws. See the clustering that a real weighted draw produces.
Pace calculator
Choose a country, a 30/60/90-minute pace and a speed. See seconds per game year, game years per real minute and the session length before pauses.
Small tools, real data, no account.
Both calculators run in the browser, use the same 172-row dataset as the country table, and keep nothing.
One source
The country shares, odds, life expectancy, under-5 mortality and income come from the game’s official country table, snapshotted 27 October 2026.
No tracking inputs
The calculators do not ask for an account, an email or a real birthplace. The draw tool uses your browser’s random number generator.
What they do not do
They do not play a life, predict a death, or model the population draw. They are explanations of the table, not a strategy engine.
The numbers behind the buttons.
If you want the reasoning rather than the output, these pages explain the draw and the pace from first principles.
